Description

This rifle replaced the Model 1903 in 1933 and is considered by many to be the best semi-automatic rimfire rifle ever produced. Serial number application date of 1935, this example has a dovetail front and sporting rear sight, along with a Lyman adjustable peep tang sight and is mounted on a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with tubular magazine and smooth buttplate. The left side of the barrel has the Winchester trade mark information and "MODEL 63 .22 LONG RIFLE/SUPER SPEED AND SUPER X".

Condition

Fine. Stock is in excellent condition, the forend does have slight dings and a chip on the left side, along with a wood burned duck in the stock. The bluing is also in excellent shape with some very minor scratches and wear on the receiver. Feeds and cycles flawlessly.
